For the first time in the pickup market, MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicle, the official dealer of Foton Motor in Nepal, has launched a ‘Assured Buyback’ scheme for its Foton Tunland unit.
According to the plan, MAW will buy back the Tunland e-pickup at a fixed price five years after it was sold. Since 2019, the reliability of Foton products has been put to the test in Nepal. After observing the satisfactory performance of these items, MAW has introduced this special scheme.
Foton Pickup’s value will remain strong in the resale market due to its high reliability. “We have come up with this unprecedented strategy to embrace our brand because of our confidence in Foton products.”
“We are optimistic that our pickup’s value will continue to rise in the years ahead. “We have launched a buy back scheme to make it more credible,” said Navin Acharya, Sales Head, MAW Vriddhi.
MAW has also declared a raise of Rs 300,000 as an exchange incentive, as well as unlimited free roadside assistance and free servicing for a period of five years.
The Tunland E produces 85 kW at 3600 rpm and 280 Nm of torque at 2400 rpm with a 2.8-liter inline 4-cylinder, electrically operated high-pressure low-rail, turbocharged and intercooled forward engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. The Tunland Eco cargo box is the best in the class, with a payload capacity of one ton and dimensions of 1.52 meters by 1.58 meters by 0.44 meters.
