Today I overheard my sister talking to an astrologer on the phone. The astrologer was giving her life advice and counseling. I’ve always thought that most astrologers are just in it for business and that astrology can’t really help with life decisions. Personally, I’ve never consulted an astrologer and don’t believe in them.

I’d just read the newspaper for Rashifal and hope my day would go good. Some say it stupid but believe it or not, if you read that your day would be going good, it would make you feel a lot more positive that entire day. Best part, those Nepali newspapers predicted good for everyone almost 99% of the time 😭
I didn’t until I consulted a numerologist just for fun. And then she (who never knew about me previously) said very oddly specific things about me way too correctly. And then she was also right about how my year was going, how my last year went, what my personality is like, what I am bad at, what I ace at, and all. I even told her jokingly, “Do you put CCTV cameras around me?” because the things she said were so damn accurate. Testo general pani thyeena. I suddenly started noticing people around telling me that I have become calmer these days as I put on the crystal she suggested. Weird, but true!
people believe in homeopathy so its same, for me i personally despise who pretend to know others future and scam people. live your life helping other that way at least you will have a fulfilling life .stop wasting time on nonsense soon or later you will regret the time wasted

Nah. Its the same as, “If you look for red, you will see red.” Thats what making all these predictions seem correct because the people want it to be correct. They associate anything with rashi if its correct and ignore whats not.
mate this reminds me of my story a decade back. relation of 4 and half years went down the drain because of astrology or not because of astrology but astrology said it would happen. Or may be after knowing this we were having a subtle influence in our life.
So the story was: a decade back when I was in college had madly been in love with this girl who also like me did not fully trust astrology but it did have a subtle influence on her life which she denied but surely it was clear like a day.like one day out of curiosity we checked out with one renowned astrologer separately(not going together to get more personalized details).
her result: she would be the light of the family she makes. she is having kama dasha affecting her decision-making ability. She would not follow her dreams because of unseen and unpredictable hindrances, she would study in a certain field that she chose just for studying and would actually do really well but never work in that field, Most of her life decisions would be like this doing it for the sake of doing it and toping it but has zero value to add in life. she would be married and have children by the age of 29 (for the record she joined BE Computer because she could not get into medical school which she was passionate about, she happened to be a topper for 5 semesters back to back. also, she ended up doing the job as a teacher with excellent pay right after college which she hated to the core).
result for me: what he said was I would stop studying further after my bachelor’s and focus on earning, Even when I try studying further responsibility and the situation won’t allow it. I might face trouble with women and women would be the cause of life problems and stress, may get dragged into legal troubles and litigations etc. due to women. only get married after 29 I you want to avoid these and there is a high chance you won’t. (For the record I could not complete my masters in Nepal because got a lucrative job offer from Australia and had to leave the master’s study while I was in second sem, tried to join again but have not been able to manage time so far. Also I’m in the verge of having a divorce with my wife right now)

next, we went for another astrologer and the results were pretty similar. for the third time, we went together to see what the result would be, surprisingly The compatibility was 28 out of a possible 32 but due to some dasha we wouldn’t get married mainly because I was deemed manglik.
this incident fucking imprinted on our brains and can’t deny it influenced both of us back then, we broke up after college. she got married year after and had a son soon after. i also got married a few years after but could not escape fate what them astrologer said. it all seems to be happening in front of my eye and i am helpless to stop it from happening.

Nope. But I’ve seen people who succeeded and the ones who were scammed. Astrologers can tell you 100 things. Maybe some of them are genuinely helpful if you implement it in your life. Maybe it was an art, but today it’s just psychological. They know people come to them because of a set of problems, I can hardly say one in 10 would actually guide you. In the end you are the one who needs to decide what you want to do and put the effort to make it real.

अर्थात् :
” आफ्नो कर्तव्य गर्नुहोस्, फलको आश नगरी।
कर्म लाई कहिल्यै फल सँग नजोड्नुहोस् ।
आफ्नो कार्यमा निष्ठा देखाउनुहोस्, बाकी कुरा भगवान मै छाड्नुहोस् ।”
I’ve myself been fond of these stuffs and tried to study this topic. Even brought some jyotish shastra books in market and tried to study, and even tried to write website API, but it was vast and out of time i can give so i dropped it. Here’s my conclusion to all:
Every points in ancient text, never satisfy that your future will be hundred percent predicted. There’s some formula to find out your outcomes based on your birth chart, not necessarily you’ve to calculate by sitting, those who do on regular basis and have abit Mathematical mind can solve in mind to get general information about you. Your birthday, birthtime (this sometimes we guess ) and birth location (district) are sufficient to get your kundali. Kundali itself has some information about you, but isn’t perfect. Some things do work , and some things won’t.
If we know the results already, even if it did happen normally, we’ll relate to this pseudo science. If it didn’t happen normally as predicted, you’ll feel uncomfortable within yourself and do some mistakes and make the prediction right. It’s all about beliefs that will guide you.
My honest opinion on this is what I’ve written on first line. To add, i don’t believe in it that much, but sometimes if it gives peace I’ll look at it. If it’s bad, I’ll say fuck it and move on. And upto now I’ve felt nothing bad has happened even if it was on kundali or even if astrologer said. Till date what i have learnt is It has one advantage, whenever nothing is happening right, your kundali viewer can give you reason that it’s due to pre written future, and will give you belief everything gonna happen good soon, if you do this. This prevents a major psychological breakdown. Some things are there in our religion for a cause.
To end, if somebody says you gonna get bad outcomes, don’t believe and say fuck you. Go on what you are actually doing. If somebody says, you gonna get good outcomes, be happy and don’t necessarily you’ve to do that unless it aligns to your aim. That’s how you’re done.

If it was all fake and scam do you think that there are so many people believing it. There is complex mathematics in astrology and it is very advanced. You have to learn for years before making any predictios. For starters there are 12 houses 9 planets and 9 rasis. Their combinations and premutations make up a prediction. Each planet have different effect if it is in different houses and rashis. Similarly planets have effect on each other. A good astrologer can not only predict your life but also your parents, children and spouses nature by looking at your kundali. You get your astrological chart according to your past karma. Some things can be changed other adverse effects can be minimised. Before saying this all is fake you better do some research yourself. You say this all is fake and don’t believe in all this bullshit. But trust me when Sani’s mahadhasa goes bad you will run to a jyotish.

I consulted a astrologer some months ago ,he with my chart in his hand told me to move abroad if I wanna succeed in my life and make my own decisions ( my parents are vv strict and yesss I can’t , even the course I joined in bachelors were their decision ,even my hs course only way I can live my life with my terms is if I move abroad) and told me I know your home life isn’t good it shows that you don’t have a great relationship with your mother ( I don’t my mom was hella abusive during my childhood and I don’t talk to her briefly even now ), he told me if I had a you get sibling and I do 😂. He told me all about my things which even my frnds can’t guesss about me and gosh to be honest I was shocked listening to those things just from my birth chart .
Astrology is something that I don’t understand but I have a expereince to share when someone predicted what has happened to me without any sight of hint. He just looked at me and told me what was I into and even he alerted me for something that might happen in future , well he got that right again. Heard of people with lot of such expereince. Astrology doesn’t necessarily have to directly influence the decision, however it can definitely show the path or give directions to ones decision.
even the well studied and qualified astrologist says, to not rely solely upon the astrology to make decision. Only the self claimed and less qualified ones says so.
I also believe in astrology. I learnt it from one of my upadhyay bahun friend, but i am tamang. I can also read birth charts now 😃.
