Former US President Donald Trump will soon return to social media through a new platform, his adviser said.
“I think we’ll see President Trump back on social media in two to three months,” Jason Miller told Fox News.
Miller said the medium would be the most popular on social media and would “redefine” social media use.
Twitter and Facebook have banned Trump following the January 6 violent attack on the US House of Representatives. Five people were killed in the attack.
Trump said his account had been permanently suspended, saying he could incite further violence.
For 10 years, Trump ignored the mainstream media and used Twitter to speak directly to voters. He had 90 million followers.
It is not clear from which platform Trump will return to social media.
Miller said without elaborating, everyone was waiting to see what President Trump would do.
He said Trump had held some high-level meetings in Florida and that several companies had contacted him on the issue.
“This new platform is going to be big,” said Miller, adding that Trump would attract millions of people to the platform.
