Bharat Raj Paudyal, the Foreign Secretary, paid Abdulaziz Kamilov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a courtesy call in Tashkent today. During the call, participants shared their perspectives on topics of mutual interest, such as trade promotion, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
On the sidelines of the International Conference on Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity, Challenges and Opportunities, Secretary Paudyal paid a courtesy call.
Foreign Secretary Paudyal expressed gratitude for the conference’s hosting and remarked that it gives a useful chance for addressing connectivity and promoting commercial links between the two areas.
During the meeting, Joint Secretary Harishchandra Ghimire, Head of the Ministry’s Central Asia, West Asia, and Africa Division, was also present.
The Nepali team to the conference was led by the Foreign Secretary, who arrived in Tashkent this morning. At Tashkent International Airport, he was greeted by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
