The monitor has received a significant update from Xiaomi. The AMOLED touchscreen monitor on the Mi Band 6 measures 152 x 486 pixels. In comparison to the MI Band 5’s 11-inch screen, it has a larger 1.56-inch display. It retains the same AMOLED display screen, which produces vivid and lively colors. You can also customize the screen by selecting one of 60 different band displays.
Furthermore, the unit has tempered glass and an anti-fingerprint coating to keep the monitor neat and tidy.
Keeping Track of What You Do
Xiaomi has leapfrogged its predecessor in terms of monitoring. The MI Band 6 has 30 activity monitoring modes, compared to 11 on the Band 5. Indoor training modes such as stretching, dancing, and stretching are also available.
The MI Band 6 also has an auto-detection mode that tracks six different activities: running, walking, treadmill, swimming, rowing, and elliptical.
The tracker will detect your activities and begin tracking you without your awareness if you enable this function.
Monitoring is getting better
A SpO2 sensor is included in the Band 6. The sensor keeps track of oxygen and blood as you sleep, allowing you to control your sleep breathing pattern. You may use this function to evaluate your sleeping habits, consistency, and length. As a result, if possible, you’ll be able to progress.
The PPG sensor, on the other hand, is found in Band 6, a standard that is used in a variety of wearables. It keeps an eye on your heart rate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Mi Band 6’s PPG sensor, of course, provides 24-hour heart rate tracking. During your active day’s movements, the system will monitor your heart stress levels.
Water Resistance & Battery Life
Another important feature of the Mi Band 6 is its 125mAh battery, which is charged by magnetic charging. The Xiaomi tracker is said to last 14 days on a single charge, according to the company.
The Mi Band 6 has also been tested to 5ATM standards. For up to 10 minutes, it can tolerate a depth of up to 50 meters.
Nepal: Price and Availability
Mi Smart Band 6 will be available in eight colors: white, brown, black, blue, orange, yellow, green, and silver. It will be available in two variants: NFC and Non-NFC. From April 2 onwards, Mi Band 6 will be available for purchase. However, it will take time to reach the Nepalese market. For the time being, we only have Nepal’s expected price.
We estimated the price of the devices in Nepal by comparing the prices in India. The approximate cost is described in the table below.
