The medical supplies were handed over to members of the Ministry of Health and the Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre by Hanan Goder, Israel’s Ambassador to Nepal, and his deputy Tal Shvartsman (CCMC).
Ventilators, PPE, oxygen-related, and ICU-related equipment are among the things.
Today, a Nepal Airlines chartered flight carrying medical goods from Tel Aviv arrived in Kathmandu. The airplane brought lots of medical supplies to Nepal, which were sent by the State of Israel, MASHAV, and the Israeli people, and organized by Nepali Ambassador to Israel Dr. Anjan Shakya and her team to help Nepal battle Covid-19. Ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and other medical equipment are among the supplies.
In a statement issued before the departure of the medical cargo from Israel, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said that Israel is happy to assist Nepal in its fight against the Coronavirus. Friends of Israel all throughout the world know that when they are in need, Israel will be there for them.
The Embassy has previously given Covid-related medical equipment to Dhulikhel, Patan, and Bir Hospitals, as well as Covid prevention materials to the Nepal Police.
