KATHMANDU: The United States of America (USA) has sent Nepal more than $50 million in foreign aid.
According to him, the United States is sending essential equipment to protect healthcare employees.
In a tweet, Secretary of State John Kerry said, “The US is rapidly responding to Nepal’s COVID-19 surge with our first shipment in a sequence of vital equipment deliveries to protect healthcare staff.”
According to him, the United States has provided Nepal with more than $50 million in aid.
“Our aid to Nepal has now surpassed $50 million, demonstrating our dedication to assisting South Asia in combating the pandemic,” he said.
Meanwhile, USAID has announced that it is airlifting critical health supplies to Nepal to aid in the fight against COVID-19.
