Oli thanked the United States on Sunday for providing aid with vaccines to Nepal. In the tweet, Nawaraj Karki, a young man, answered to the Prime Minister about various themes.
” Namaste, Prime Minister.” Approximately 9,000 young people have passed the EPS test and are waiting to enter Korea. Please hold senior-level discussions on this. Thank you.
Tilak Rana has also made a similar claim in PM Oli’s tweet.
10,000+ young people who have finished the entire process are still wondering if they will be able to go to Korea. We’ve been waiting for the previous fifteen to sixteen months, wanting to go to Korea. We couldn’t even get the authorities to help us. Prime Minister remains the last hope. Please take the diplomatic initiative with Korea and send us persons who have completed the entire process and not let us down. Thank you.’
South Korea has been shut down for the previous 14 months. It has been a long time since I accomplished everything. This has gone completely unnoticed. Use your initiative to help 10,000 young people as soon as possible, thank you.
That’s only an example. Prime Minister Oli’s recent tweets contain several grievances like this. In the aftermath of Thapa’s death, the Prime Minister sent his sympathies. There were responses like this. They’ve also cited President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in their tweet. When Foreign Minister Gyawali congratulated his US counterpart Anthony Blinken for announcing the vaccine support, a similar criticism was made on Twitter.
EPS Pidit Nepal is a Twitter handle created by teenagers who could not go to Korea because of their poor language skills.
It has been 15 months since the start of COVID lockdown in Nepal. There are more than 10,000 young people who failed the language test as a result of this.
Following the conclusion of the first phase of the lockdown, mobility in and out of the country for employment was permitted. However, Korea did not. The EPS language test cannot be administered in 2020. It is unknown if the language test will be held in 2021. Two-year graduates are unable to re-apply.
