According to the Federation of Nepali Journalists, over 750 journalists have been contaminated with Covid-19, with 13 of them dying (FNJ).
The FNJ, an umbrella body representing journalists and media professionals, has urged all journalists to recognize the gravity of the current situation and the potential health threats it poses.
The Federation also urged the journalists to pay attention to their own personal health protection.
On Saturday morning, he died at the Manmohan Memorial Hospital in Swyambhu, Kathmandu.
“Nepali journalism has lost a promising, professional, and charismatic young personality with the passing of Karki,” the FNJ lamented, praying for eternal peace for the departed and extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved kin.
