Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated and best wishes to Sher Bahadur Deuba on his appointment as Nepal’s Prime Minister.
In his congratulatory message, Modi stated that he was looking forward to working with Prime Minister Deuba to further consolidate Nepal and India’s unique partnerships in all sectors and strengthen the deep-rooted people-to-people ties.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, Prime Minister Deuba expressed gratitude to his Indian counterpart for the congratulations and best wishes. Deuba also expressed a willingness to collaborate closely with his Indian counterpart in order to strengthen Nepal-India relations.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated Prime Minister Deuba on receiving a vote of confidence from Parliament.
Through a Twitter post, Pakistan’s Prime Minister expressed his congratulations.
“I congratulate H.E. Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister of Nepal, on receiving the House of Representatives’ vote of confidence. Pakistan looks forward to deepening its cordial ties with Nepal and will continue to work closely with Nepal on issues of mutual interest,” Pakistan’s Prime Minister said.
On Sunday evening, Nepali Congress President Deuba received a vote of confidence in the lower House.
