Realme 5G phones under USD 100:
Realme’s CEO indicated that the business will invest more than USD 300 million in 5G research and development, as well as create seven R&D sites across the globe, including in India.
5G under 100 bucks, really?
The company intends to increase the number of 5G devices in its portfolio to more than 20, ensuring that 70% of its products on the market are 5G ready. Realme’s first foray into the 5G market was the Realme X50 Pro, which was also India’s first 5G smartphone.
Similarly, the Realme 8 5G was recently launched as the company’s most cheap 5G gadget to date. In addition, the new target is to sell 5G phones for less than $100 USD.
Furthermore, the CEO has announced that the Realme GT 5G would be released globally this month. To broaden its range, the company will include 5G in its existing number series, Narzo, and GT lineups.
Is there a timetable?
It is currently unknown when such phones will be released or how much they will cost. Furthermore, it is unclear which Realme 5G phone series will be sold for less than USD 100. However, given that the C-series is the company’s affordable lineup, with prices starting at a few hundred dollars, it’s possible that Realme may launch the aforementioned 5G phones there.
The potential of breakthrough technologies in low-cost phones is enticing. However, businesses frequently sacrifice valuable functionality in order to include 5G in their cellphones. As a result, a parallel strategy to expanding 5G’s reach should be implemented, with no compromises in terms of functionality.
