Sandeep Lamichhane, a cricketer from India, is traveling for the United Kingdom to compete in The Hundred, a professional cricket franchise 100-ball cricket competition set to begin on July 22 in the United Kingdom.
According to his manager Raman Siwakoti, Lamichhane, who will board a Turkish Air flight tonight, will have to complete a 10-day quarantine stay after arriving in the UK. He will be tested for PCR twice and will be eligible to play the match if both tests are negative.
Oval Invincibles has paid the 20-year-old right-arm leg-spin bowler £100,000 to play the match.
According to Siwakoti, Lamichhane will play in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) following the match.
