Landslides have once again obstructed traffic on the Narayangadh-Muglin road. Since three days, the road has been closed at regular intervals due to rain-caused landslides.
A landslide occurred last night around 10:00 p.m. in Seti Dhobhan, ward 29 of Bharatpur metropolis. As a result, both directions of traffic have been halted since last night.
The District Police Office in Chitwan said that efforts are being made to clear the debris of the landslide with the help of dozers, but that it will take some time as the rain continues.
After clearing the debris from the landslide in various sections of the road, the road was only reopened to traffic at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
