Abdullah Almutairi, head coach of the men’s national football team, has reduced his squad to 36 players.
To prepare for the SAFF Championship and the AFC Asian Cup China Qualifier Final Round, the national team has been training in a closed camp.
Amit Tamang, Bibek Basnet, Darshan Gurung, Dona Thapa, Gaurav Budathoki, Mikchen Tamang, Niraj Basnet, Nishan Khadka, Prizen Tamang, Ravi Paswan, Sesehang Angdembe, Shisir Lekhi, and Sudil Rai have all been omitted.
Bikram Lama, a midfielder, has also been training with the national team to aid his recovery. He may be considered for the national team if he is fully fit.
