KATHMANDU: The US has not imposed a travel ban on Nepal, citing the risk of coronavirus infection.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States has released new information stating that restrictions put on nations such as Nepal, India, and Pakistan remain in effect.
The CDC has issued a Level-4 Travel Advisory for Nepal, citing a high risk of viral infection. The CDC has simplified the list of nations to visit.
More than a half-dozen nations, including Japan, are on the list of destinations to visit only after a complete dosage of the vaccine has been received. It is stated that simply becoming vaccinated, one can travel to 64 nations. With the Olympics starting on July 23 in Japan, the United States has relaxed its travel regulations.
Other South Asian countries, including Nepal and Latin America, as well as numerous African countries, are on the list of places to avoid visiting.
