In a bid to strengthen its foothold in Nepal, JCB, the renowned manufacturer of earthmoving and construction equipment, has announced an extended warranty scheme through its dealer, MAW Earthmovers.

Under the new scheme, JCB India offers a warranty of up to 5 years or 10,000 hours (whichever comes first) for selected models of tracked excavators, demonstrating its commitment to the Nepali market. MAW Earthmovers, serving as JCB’s dealer for over twenty years, is headquartered in Kathmandu and boasts 32 outlets scattered across Nepal.

Moreover, MAW Earthmovers plays a pivotal role in skill development by operating three training institutes where individuals are trained to operate JCB machinery. The company is set to inaugurate its fourth training center in Chitwan, expanding its reach and impact in the region.

Expressing his views during a visit to Nepal, Deepak Shetty, the CEO and managing director of JCB India, emphasized the significance of Nepal as a key market in South Asia. He highlighted Nepal’s unique identity and position in the region, underscoring JCB’s ongoing commitment to introducing cutting-edge technological solutions tailored to the country’s needs.
