Those who have eaten Bangladeshi food did you like it? How different is it from yours? How’s the spice level? Do you have any favourite Bangladeshi dish? Do you mostly consume fried food or steamed/boiled food?

I guess it is quite different than Nepali food. More spices and seafood i guess. We here do river fish. Spicy i guess is equal, i didn’t feel bengali food are spicy. And i am from south east part of nepal, jhalmuri, puchka and mashed chana flakes chaat (forgot the name) is very common.
My fav bengali food is Dal chingri bhorta, had it once, one of the best &underrated food .
I don’t know about non veg but there are very few food options for veg people.( My friend who studies in Bangladesh said so)
From my experience Bangladeshi folks prefer mustard oil little bit more than us Nepali folks. We share love for daal bhat so that’s a win. Also Hindus on both side eat more meat on festivities which isn’t common with north indians apparently. However, I find some combinations unappetising like that of daal and mach.
Also Bangladeshis found it sinister when I told them we cook blood, specially goat, and eat it. So there’s that.
Bangladeshi jhalmuri ra nepal chatpat jastai ho!! Taste big difference.
