Devyani Rajya Laxmi Rana has been named vice president of Coca-Cola India’s public relations, communications, and sustainability for India and Southwest Asia. She joins Caterpillar from Caterpillar India, where she served as director of public affairs for India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
With Rana’s hiring, the corporation is demonstrating its commitment to a purpose-driven approach in the region. “I am happy to welcome Devyani on this exciting mission to deepen Coca-engagement Cola’s in the region as she joins the leadership team to spearhead the practice in the region,” said Sanket Ray, president, India and Southwest Asia.
Devyani has a long history of campaigning for policies, legislation, trade agreements, and regulations. Her contributions will strengthen our belief in our mission and help us go forward with the work we’ve already started.” Rana has also worked with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the United Nations (UN) in India, as well as the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship in Geneva and the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, over a 25-year period (WEF).
Devyani RL Rana is the daughter of RPP Leader Pashupati SJB Rana.
