8. Appreciating few things we do right.
You can always love yourself more. Try mindfulness, meditation, exercises for self care.
HITTING THE GYM is always the option too.

It’s a multi-dimensional process. The first step to loving yourself is accepting who you are your personalities , physical appearance and mistakes. Treating yourself with kindness and showing self compassion by acknowledging your struggles or your situation. Taking Self-Care and respecting yourself , positive self talk rather than judging yourself is most. Set goals and celebrate when accomplished it will help boost your self esteem and acquire that sweet old dopamine and detox. Self Improvement and trying to be better than the previous guy you were is also a part of self loving.
Tbh, i think trying your best to stay alive even if you don’t have the energy is what self love is??

I guess loving yourself means forgiving yourself. We are all just little kids at heart. Maybe we hurt people unintentionally or sometimes intentionally as well. Maybe we are ashamed. But we are the protagonists of our lives so forgive ourselves and move on. Be a better person. I hope thats self love.

i think you could say going easy on yourself, not taking things too seriously and not comparing yourself to others. while its much easier said than done but often times i believe we put ourselves in difficult spots ourselves making things worse than they actually are because of a popular notion that plagues us that everyone around us is content with their lives, at least to a certain degree where they dont look utterly miserable all the time despite having problems of their own, all except you, and that the best way to live life is to not go through any major problems in life, or at least go through very minimal challenges which you can easily deal with, with minimal effort, which then makes your believe that youre missing out on life and youre not living the life youre supposed to, or even the bare minimum, and you along with a niche group of people are cursed with the life youre living where things often dont go out as planned where most of the times you dont even have anything to do with.
what i feel is we tend to compare ourselves with people who have relatively favorable situation compared to us and set unreasonable thresholds, primarily focusing on the good parts while mostly if not completely undermining their shortcomings, failing to understand that they too have their own problems to deal with and they too have been through things, although not necessarily things as bad as you have been through but i think reminding yourself every once in a while that everyone goes through tough times at some point in their lives and that youre not alone helps to cope with the situation. i dont mean to undermine what youre going through by any means but sometimes it could be possible that youre so distressed by whatever youre going through that the idea that everyone else has it easy except you, which may or may not be entirely true, ends up consuming you ultimately making things worse than they actually are. so try to go a little easy on yourself. it wont outright fix everything but it surely will make it easier for you to deal with problems.
