Certainly you have asked to the Drs who performed surgery and can to the oncologist whoom you will be referred to for Chemotherapy afterwards.

This posting in Social Media is useless and none can give you the answer without reviewing reports, patients and her co morbidities.
What i can tell you is, if she is young, it is very unusual to get colon cancer at an young age. There are hereditary conditions like FAP or HNPCC which could have caused the cancer. Talk to the doctors involved in her management. You might have to screen a couple of your family members too
